Barbara Grantham
Barbara Grantham offers more than 20 years experience as a senior executive and consultant in the non-profit and public sectors here in B.C. Her professional passion is the interplay between vision, strategy and change; sound public policy; organizational excellence and leadership; and philanthropy. Most recently, she served as the Acting President and CEO of the Streetohome Foundation, established in 2008. Prior to this, she served as Vice President, Community Leadership at Vancouver Foundation, overseeing all funding, convening, partnership, community engagement and leadership programs. She has also held executive positions with the Canadian Mental Health Association and B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Barbara has extensive experience as a senior consultant for national, provincial and local organizations in the areas of strategic planning, facilitation and stakeholder engagement; organizational assessment, design, and alignment; project management; Board governance; financial sustainability; as well as significant work on specific public policy issues.
Barbara is a member of the Board of Directors of Vantage Point (previously known as Volunteer Vancouver), Canuck Place Children’s Hospice and the B.C. Centre for Non-Profit Management and Sustainability. She is also a member of the National Advisory Council of Imagine Canada. She holds a Masters degree in Public Policy and Public Administration from Carleton University and lives in Vancouver with her family.
